Velocity model and station corrections used by B. Dyer to locate seismic events recorded by the downhole and the surface network - Soultz-sous-Forêts 2000 Stimulation

Description

Velocity model and static station corrections described in B. Dyer's report [see part 1.5.3 Velocity model and station corrections].
The velocity model was derived from a combination of the GPK1 check shot survey velocities and the velocity gradient interpreted from the GPK1 sonic logs. The station corrections were refined from initial station corrections by removing any bias between the model traveltimes and the picked P and S wave arrivals (Dyer, B. 2001.Soultz GPK2 Stimulation June/July 2000. Seismic Monitoring Report. Semore Seismic report for Socomine).

The catalogue of events located by B. Dyer using the downhole network is available here.
