Microseismic downhole network - Soultz-sous-Forêts 1994 Hydraulic Tests
Description
The microseismic network in operation during the 1994 circulation was essentially the same as that used in the 1993 experimental programme. It consisted of three accelerometers (4-component sensors) built by the CSMA in boreholes 4550, 4601, 4616 and a single hydrophone in EPS1 (Baria, R., 1996.The European HDR programme 1992-1995).
The X,Y,Z coordinates in the file refer to the local coordinate system with the GPK1 wellhead as origin:
X: Easting in meters from GPK1 wellhead (toward magnetic East)
Y: Northing in meters from GPK1 wellhead (toward magnetic North)
Z: Depth in meters from GPK1 wellhead
The local coordinate system is based on the UTM32 system.
The coordinates of the stations in the local coordinate system have been obtained from the thesis from S. Bourouis (Sismicité induite et comportement mécanique d'un massif granitique fracturé par injection d'eau).
The latitude, longitude and elevation in the WGS84 coordinate system have been derived from the local coordinate system.
